๐ŸŽฒ๐ŸŽถ Tag Team โ€” Original Soundtrack

The crowd roars. Two fighters step into the light, and two more crack their knuckles across the ring. Tag Team, a two-player brawler from Sky Team designers Gricha German and Corentin Lebrat, published by Le Scorpion Masquรฉ, turns the arcade fighting game into a duel of cards. You draft two of twelve wildly different fighters, and their opening moves start a fight deck that will never be shuffled. Then the bout runs itself: you and your rival flip your top cards at the same moment, and attacks, blocks and special powers collide in order. After each round you slot one new card anywhere in the sequence โ€” but nothing already there can move. Learn their rhythm, hide a block under their haymaker, and knock one of their fighters out cold.

๐ŸŽถ The Soundtrack โ€” Neon, Funk and Fists

Two long-form tracks, fifty minutes in all, built for the rhythm of a quick, punchy duel. Playful, arcade-bright and always on the move, they keep the energy up from the first flipped card to the final knockout โ€” without ever drowning out the trash talk.

  1. Select Your Fighters โ€” The character-select screen, stretched into a whole evening. Neon synthwave in the old arcade mould, its glowing synth lines riding a driving pulse that never lets the cabinet go dark. It is the sound of two players leaning over the table, sizing up a dozen fighters and choosing the pair that will carry them.
  2. Tag In, Hit Hard โ€” The bell rings. Fast electro-funk drums with a crunching edge lock into a tight arena groove, made for a duel where every revealed card lands like a jab. Brash, bouncy and impossible to sit still to, it carries you through combos, blocks and the last desperate exchange before someone hits the floor.

๐ŸŽจ The Art โ€” Champions of the Golden Arena

The AI-generated artwork plays like the attract mode of an arcade cabinet. A roster of eight brawlers โ€” a pink-haired knight in gilded plate, an old kung-fu master in round dark glasses, a hulking orange golem with glowing eyes, a masked white-haired ninja, a braided red-bearded berserker, a violet shadow spirit, a long-coated gunslinger and an acrobat trailing crimson ribbons โ€” squares off in a packed coliseum under heraldic banners and drifting confetti. Everything is lit in molten gold and amber, slashed through with red scarves and purple shadow-magic, and drawn with the bold outlines and dramatic angles of fighting-game key art. In one scene the fighters burst straight out of their cards on a wooden table strewn with coloured cubes and tokens โ€” the arcade and the tabletop, one and the same.
